FAQ

Common questions

Does ZIP/unzip local upload my file to Rupeka?

No. The live tool reads and processes the selected file in your browser. Rupeka does not need a server upload, account, or database for this result.

Can I use the result for an official form?

Use it as a preparation aid and always check the exact size, format, and instructions shown on the official portal before submission.

What are the browser safety limits?

ZIP creation accepts up to 100 files and 250MB total. Extraction accepts up to 200 files and stops if extracted content exceeds 500MB to reduce browser memory risk.

Can it open password-protected ZIP files?

No. Password-protected, damaged, and unsupported archives are rejected. Extracted files are offered individually and are not scanned for malware.

Are folder paths trusted from the archive?

No. Entry names are normalized for display and download, including removal of parent-directory traversal segments.
